The Rolling Meadows Public Works Department's mission is to enhance the quality of life by maintaining the City's . . .

• System of highways, Local Streets, pedestrian ways, bicycle paths and parkways, to provide for safe transportation for residents, businesses and visitors;
• Water Distribution and storage systems to insure a safe and reliable source for drinking water;
• Sanitary Sewer and Storm Sewer systems to insure for proper disposal of waste water and storm water run-off, along with Residential Refuse, Recycling, and Yard-waste Collection and Disposal;
• Fleet, Public Buildings and open spaces;

Along with all related activities to provide for the highest levels of service at the most cost effective means possible.

Emergency Statement

For after hour emergencies or to report a HAZARDOUS MATERIALS SPILL or ILLEGAL DUMPING of toxic materials into SEWER SYSTEMS or SALT CREEK, replacement of downed STOP SIGNS,  inspection of  SEWER BACKUPS or WATER MAIN BREAKS and HAZARDOUS ROAD CONDITIONS, call 911.
